Each year, the Sports Basement in Sunnyvale organizes an end of Summer swap meet. Swap meets are the Bicycle Exchange’s biggest fundraising opportunities, and we’ll be there again this year selling bikes to cover our programs and operating expenses. Numerous individuals and groups will bring a surprising array of bicycles, parts, and accessories to sell. We can use your help staffing our booth at this event and of course preparing bikes as well.
Admission to the swap meet is $3, but you can get in for free if you sign up to help at our booth. In past years the Sports Basement has provided free burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, and drinks for swap meet attendees.
