Many thanks to all of our volunteers and staff who helped us surpass our goal of 800 bikes repaired and donated in 2024. You all made it possible to get bikes to 818 individuals of all ages and backgrounds rolling to jobs, school, errands, medical appointments, and recreation.
We've set a bike donation goal of 900 bikes this year! The community need for such an increase is clear, as all of our growing list of partner organizations report a huge demand for refurbished bicycles.
It's an ambitious goal, that depends on growth throughout the whole organization:
- Toni, our new Volunteer Coordinator, is working on recruiting new volunteers
- Kelly, our new Program Manager, is creating new programs, including a new mentor education program, and applying for grants
- The Board is implementing new business processes to boost productivity
- Gregg (and his team) will also be working to increase sales this year to finance our growth
We have great optimism, and with everyone's continued enthusiasm, we should be able to reach our goal of 900 donated bikes!
